In fulfilling its regulatory mandate, the OAA must establish, maintain, and develop standards of qualification for the practice of architecture to serve and protect the public interest. The Association has an opening for a part-time Experience Review Architect. Reporting to the Registrar, they will be responsible for reviewing the architectural experience submissions that form part of the Internship in Architecture Program (IAP).
The successful candidate for this hybrid role will be a licensed member of the OAA, with a minimum of 10 years of post-licence practical experience. They will have thorough, practical knowledge of the architecture profession, including architect roles and responsibilities, current project delivery methods, and professional standards of practice for the profession, as well as the OAA’s standard documents and resources.
